Whether it is sharing the perfect recipe or tools to keep your kitchen clutter free, I love being on this journey with you! Building my tribe has been incredibly helpful in helping me stay the course, but it was important to be clear on WHY adopting a healthy lifestyle is so important for ME.
Many of you may know your "WHY"- to you I say "yaeeeeees". For those still figuring out, I share a little bit of my story.
My journey was inspired by Grandma Emma. Her smile was huge and her laugh was contagious! She loved romantic novels and playing rummy. She was an amazing cook and comfort food was her specialty. She struggled with many health conditions caused by her diet- Unfortunately, I was headed down the same path.
In 2010 I started grad school, stress-eating my way through late nights and early mornings, gaining over 40 pounds in my first year. I wasn't overly concerned at the time, but my wakeup call came when my grandma passed a month after I finished school- My Grandma Emma's light always lives with me. Her life was inspiration to always put my health and wellness first. I continue to learn, try new things, and tweak as needed.
